TIME AND ATTENDANCE

The idea of a clocking-in system you might think of a card and a machine on a wall.

Well at there are a number of more modern versions available now.

Some of the newer machines still use a card system, but instead of punching-in holes they print the start and finish times on the clock cards.

The high end machines have a calculating function in-built, and will print totals on the cards at the end of the day, week and so forth.  If employees start late or finish at an abnormal time this can be highlighted on the cards by the machine.

This eliminates human error and saves time when doing the wages.

Their are Swipe card systems too these can be utilised in many types of businesses, for example, manufacturing, councils, schools, offices.

They can be used for clocking on, clocking off, entering the time a ‘job’ is started and finished and all the information can be successfully exported to your computer systems for job costing and payroll. Not just clocking in and out for the working day.

They are all ran with software which will be on a local pc and collect the information that the swipe cards are recording then distribute it to whichever application you are using for example, wages, accounts, job costing. This can all be ‘web enabled’ so that you can keep an eye on your staff and costs wherever you are at home, at work or away on business.

Fingerprint identification can also be used!
